Benson Boone

Benson Boone was born on June 9, 2002, in Monroe, Washington, into a large religious family. Growing up with a love of music, he taught himself guitar and began writing original songs as a teenager. In 2021, he auditioned for American Idol, impressing the judges enough to advance through the competition — but he made the surprising decision to voluntarily withdraw, choosing to forge his own path as an independent artist rather than follow the Idol template.
